The assignement was to come up with an idea that could raise ecological awareness through photomanipulation - at the time, I had just discovered just how dangerously high the sea levels were starting to rise in Venice, and thought it would be interesting to depict what it would look like completely underwater in the future.
This was actually a fun exercise despite the grim reality of climate change.
