Our task was to design wedding invitations off of a self-picked theme. I went with something I've rarely seen for weddings but I found the vintage aspect of it charming - and potentially challenging, too, because the original sailor jerry tattoo style can sometimes be used in a kitsch way. I tried to find a tasteful balance that I thought would suit a wedding.
